I've worn many different hats during my professional career and most of them have revolved around the teaching profession in one way or another. I love teaching but sadly, as any teacher will tell you, we don't do it for the money.

Still, I wasn't looking for another livelihood until my husband and I made a startling realization.

Our respective divorces had been more costly than we'd realized and in my husband's case his retirement fund had been essentially gutted. It was hard to believe that despite his having worked a W-2 job for over 30 years, there just wasn't enough left to enable him to retire any time soon, especially with our two sons still in college. So much for the early retirement idea, we thought.

Though there were many legitimate franchise opportunities, they seemed way too expensive for what I wanted to invest to get started, let alone have to pay on a reoccurring annual basis.

The company had to have "real" stand alone products I could believe in 100%. I knew I'd never be able to go for anything that even slightly resembled a "smoke and mirrors" type of operation.

I kept up my search until finally, I found an opportunity I resonated with right from the start. Here was no glitz and glamour - just an honest to goodness home-based business with a well established company of highest integrity that offered a proven pathway to success. Grabbing quickly at the chance to become a part of it, I hit the ground running and have never looked back.
